Epic Outdoors MAXX QR Tripod Combo

The Epic Ultra Tripod and Epic Ultra Head are the perfect all around hunting tripod that allows for stand-up glassing for most people. This 4 section, carbon fiber compact tripod weighs only 4.7 lbs, has a maximum height of 67.5", and the inverted leg design allows it to collapse to a length of 19" for packing.

This tripod features the Epic Ultra Head which was specifically designed by the Epic Outdoors Crew for extremely fluid movement while glassing. It also features an adjustable 6-inch "shorty" handle that won't get in the way while glassing or packing the tripod. This head comes with our Quick Release mounting plate that allows you to change what optic you're using in seconds. The side friction knob controls the tilt movement and the base lever controls the pan movement. This design allows you to lock in the vertical movement while still giving you fluid horizontal movement. The head features an Arca Swiss mount and comes with one Arca Swiss mounting plate.

The legs are rated to hold up to 33 lbs and the head up to 9 lbs. This tripod handles large spotting scopes, like the BTX with ease, but doesn't feel too big for glassing with smaller binoculars—it's the perfect all around hunting tripod. This combo also comes with a soft carrying case.

The center column can be removed and replaced with the included short center column if you would like a lay flat design.
